Cadwraeth ~ Preservation

“Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire.”
― Gustav Mahler

Gweithiais i ar ddodrefn yr ardd heddiw. Mae rhaid i ni roi olew ar y dodrefn pren cyn i ni eu rhoi i ffwrdd am y gaeaf. Rhofiais i un gôt o olew teak ar ddwy gadair, a bydda i'n mynd i roi côt arall arnyn nhw yfory.

Mae'r caeiriau yn cyfforddus iawn, hyd yn oed heb clustogau, ac rydyn ni'n eu eisiau yn parhau am amser hir.

Mae fy mhwysedd gwaed dal yn uchel. Tybed ac mor hir mae e (it) wedi bod uchel - gallai fod wedi bod yn flynyddoedd. Yfory, bydda i'n gwneud apwyntiad i weld y meddyg.

I worked on the garden furniture today. We have to oil the wooden furniture before we put it away for the winter. I put one coat of teak oil on two chairs, and I'm going to put another coat on them tomorrow.

The chairs are very comfortable, even without cushions, and we want them to last a long time.

My blood pressure is still high. I wonder how long it has been high - it could have been years. Tomorrow, I will make an appointment to see the doctor.
