Autumn
Woke to another beautiful autumn morning.
After breakfast had a lovely long chat with our youngest granddaughter, Jennie.
Then a walk to the pond and back.
Lots of leaves have fallen now, and some trees are bare, although as you can see in this photo the small oak tree on the left is still very green.
I counted 20 mallards, and two moorhens on the pond. Also the solitary seagull which is a regular resident. No sign of the heron.
We are now listening to Johnnie Walker’s very last Sounds of the 70s. After 58 years as a radio DJ.he is having to call it a day.
Unfortunately he is on borrowed time after being diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
Thanks Jonnie, for all your music, and being part of our lives for so long.
