Kites
A glorious day. The sort of sunny day that, when I was a child, people used to say it was lovely for taking photographs and the Box Brownies were given an airing.
Mish and I made the most of it down the field. I thought I could hear the raven calling from an oak tree so trained my camera in that area. Suddenly a red kite appeared and circled quite low over us. I couldn't decide which image to post. I chose my main because it's a topside view, which is a bit more unusual, and because of the eye. I've added a couple more to extras.
Clear sunny weather brings the light aircraft out too. I've added a montage to extras. Kite is RAF slang for aircraft. The central pic is a Sun Express 737-800. The very smart G-DIYA Sling TSi was built by its owner in his Essex back garden during lockdown so that he could take his family flying. The pair of De Havilland Chipmunks date from 1951. Take note RobinDown and Dunnie. :)
