Emergency!

Mish and I spent most of the day on the road in the van. On the way back from Ernest Doe, where I bought myself a bramble-proof work coat so that I can ditch the tattered one belonging to my dead brother-in-in-law, we saw the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance. I can't resist photographing this beautiful machine. There had been an incident but a woman I spoke to didn't know what it was. 

As we left for Woodham Mortimer this afternoon a car was on fire by the roundabout and the fire engine had just arrived.

On the way home in Danbury I saw a white standard poodle with its fur dyed black in such a way that it looked like a skeleton!
