Little and Large!
Bella is used to horses, often being at close quarters with the ponies Jamie rides at RDA. Today she met the three donkeys at Rhydyronen. They're large, medium and small :-) Arthur, the largest is very friendly and inquisitive while the other two seem to take a lead form him so we had all three trotting up to say hello as we passed this morning.
Jamie and Bella came with me for todays outing with C and the Megs, a run in the field next the railway and a walk up the lane. My Meg had her 'stranger danger' head on when the donkeys first appeared so we waited at a safe distance but on our return down the hill she seemed less concerned, more interested, so we did get a bit closer.
My day started with a pancake breakfast at Jamie's before the walk. Afterwards it was lunchtime, a quick sandwich as I organised myself for an afternoon at pottery. Not making today, it was the an induction session for new potters. I was there to give help and advice when needed. They were glazing pieces that they had made in previous weeks, some very nice things.
A quiet evening at home. A long chat with my sister, catching up on news and mulling over what more we can do to support our mum. Then Ruth and I did a 'simulcast' of the final two episodes of Ludwig on iPlayer. As clever and wryly funny as ever.
