The Birthday Boy With an Assist

Merrick had a basketball doubleheader today, but the first game was at 10 a.m., so we were at church. (I can't believe they play on Sunday morning!) They won the game 44-40.

At 7 p.m., they played the same team, and we were there. It was a close game, and we lost 58-55, but we had a good look at a 3-pointer with 4 seconds left. 

Merrick had a good game, but it's hard to believe he is 14. Yikes, when did he and we get so old?

P.S. He is the blond boy in white, the one that needs a haircut. :0)
