Preparing

We have decorators starting on Tuesday, painting the sewing room and our bedroom.  So some of today was spent moving stuff.  Most of the readily removable stuff is either in the book room or in the upstairs landing.  We have to keep the spare bedroom clear enough that we can sleep there for a couple of nights.

I did do some cutting of fabric in the very empty sewing room.

There's a bit more to do today - I will clear at least some of the stuff we have stored in the large wardrobe in our bedroom.  This contains no clothes, just stuff that doesn't yet have another home - such as pictures to be hung.  In theory it could be passed to a more needy owner, but it has too many memories for me to do that.
