The Pensioner

I whistled the SK along for her shingles vaccination first thing and then it was her turn to be whistled up - the minky is off nursery and although her mum was managing to juggle WFH with the poorly child, she needed to pop out for provisions. And later on I helped out by picking small boy up. My word was he genuinely delighted to see me; very gratifying. He’s had his first haircut and now looks quite like the little lad.
And then out. Iron and Wine at the Queens Hall - we'd got two return tickets right in the front row. I’m not as au fait with his stuff as the SK is - I’d told a pal the night before that he was sort of Americana. Silly me. It’s Cat Stevens, innit! That’s why she loves him. And I believe another blipper was there too.
