Tokyo Baby

We’ve made it. Our week long trek across country on the Tokaido Shinkansen Line has resulted in us arriving at Tokyo. Unfortunately, and to the dismay and amazement of the locals, our large luggage cases hadn’t made it to the hotel before us via the ingenious luggage carousel, but that’s for another day.

We settled quickly into our rooms on the 37th floor of the Kabukicho Tower and were ready to receive our chums from yesteryear - Hiro, Saki and Nori. What a laugh, the years melted away and I was reminded how I had missed them.
