I am still feeling the unsettling effect of the clocks going back.

I have been getting on with our everyday tasks and I am daily clearing up the beautiful orange and yellow Cherry tree leaves in the front garden.

Our glass and plastic bin was emptied and then the green garden recycling bin, which was useful in these weeks of leaves falling.

The weather has been about 14c and there have been sunny interludes and then showers of rain.

A whole family of starlings visited the bird feeders and then several beautiful pigeons.

Hunter has gone out but Holly is resting in her cosy cat bed.

I am soon to be watching, with Paul, a new episode of Escape to the Country.
