Bridge 167 - Trent & Mersey
I had to go over to Middlewich this morning so took the opportunity of photographing another bridge on the Trent and Mersey canal (see the TMBridgeseries tag).
This is bridge 167, Kings Lock bridge, a Grade II listed building which lies in front of lock 71. It is close to the Wardle canal, the shortest canal in the country, which is just behind me and which I have photographed before. The bridge itself only gives access from the A533 to the Kings Lock pub, a chandlery and boat builders.
