Cat on a cold stone wall
A really gloomy day today with the mist down over the hills. I went for a walk this morning to try to get my sore foot back into shape, but kept to the relatively level roads round about rather than risk going down to the town and back.
I passed the house where my recently former neighbour Margaret now lives with her daughter. She was waiting for someone to pick her up, so I had a chat with her. I won't see her so often since she's moved out of our road.
After moving on I came across this lovely cat sitting on the wall. A very affectionate creature - I got a good licking! Round the corner and I came across another elderly friend working in his garage, so we had a mutual moan about getting old before I carried on home.
Spent some time this afternoon writing my plant blog, now it's time for a cuppa and maybe watch another episode of Midsomer Murders!
