Garden Centre Visit
A couple of my neighbours were off to a garden centre this morning and asked if I wanted to join them?
Silly question, especially as it was one I’ve not been to before.
Windlebridge Garden Nursery and Tearooms, just the other side of Gisborough.
We had a good mooch around outside, bought a boot full of plants (between 4 of us) and then went back inside for the second part. Lots of autumnal displays, Christmas displays and another good mooch around the insides.
Unfortunately one of the ladies can be affected by perfume sprays triggering her asthma. Someone was trying one of them and she caught a bit of it, so she quickly used her inhaler but it was too late. We got her sat down outside in the fresh air and she did recover enough to come back in and have lunch, but it put a bit of a strain on the morning.
Whilst we were sitting outside with her I noticed that from the car park it’s a good view of Roseberry Topping, the 1050ft hill with a very distinctive shape. Out came the camera, and with a bit of a boost in processing, it’s showing it autumn colours quite nicely.
Now I know where this lovely little garden centre is, I shall return with Callum. Very soon hopefully :-)
