Glaucous Gull

A 'white-winged' gull, a neArctic species that visits the UK in the winter. The Northern Isles are naturally the best place in the UK to see them. This bird, though, seems to have stayed since last year and is often seen around the Ring of Brodgar area, where this photo was taken.
