Drying hydrangeas

After watching instructions for drying hydrangeas on Gardener's World on TV, I decided to give it a go. These were soaked completely underwater for 24 hours and are now drying out while their stems sit in water. Apparently this counterintuitive method of drying is necessary because they are bracts not flowers. It will be interesting to see how they turn out.
