Flash, ah-ah!

I picked up my camera twice today: once when I saw a dragonfly in our garden (very exciting! I nearly exploded with joy!), and didn't even get to press the shutter because it was so flitty. The second time was after dark when I was watching Luther and remembered I didn't have a photo.

I'm not a flash person, but it was fun playing around with the flash in the garden in the dark.

I've been digging in the mud this evening. I actually made mud specifically with the garden hose so that I could dig in it. I love being dirty. I needed to plant a couple of flowers and the ground was so biscuity I needed to soak it (I don't know why people say "cakey" - that would be soft and squishy. )

Still waiting for rain.

My dill is jolly tall.
