Ready to Fall

Clearing up the leaves that have fallen in the garden is a regular task at the moment. The leaves of the purple acer have turned this gorgeous red colour and it almost seemed a shame to suck them up as they’d created a carpet of red under the tree.

I was up earlier because of the clocks going back yesterday. After a swim I took the car in to check a slow leak on one of the tyres.  It’s the first time a puncture has been mended while leaving the wheel on the car.  The plugs they use now seem to have saved a lot of time.
