Botanical Gardens

It was worth joining a very long queue to head up to the Madeiran Botanical Gardens by cable cars. After yesterday's rain we enjoyed blue sky and warm sunshine. Both cable car rides are spectacular even when you've done them before. So a treat! Pictures flow into the Extras.

I think the butterfly is a Madeiran version of a Speckled Wood - more orange than brown. Not sure though!
