Organised chaos!

The only photo I took today because the scene made me laugh :-))

We spent the morning in the living room, which is full of all the stuff decanted from the kitchen and garden room while they were being painted so it's an absolute mess.  I am taking the opportunity of redecorating to move art work and nik naks so the plan had been to have a coffee in the living room whilst deciding where things were going.  Of course after 20 minutes discussion we couldn't come to any decision as until the new sofas arrive for the garden room, I'm not sure what I will want where!

At some point during our chat D made himself comfy and started watching an old episode of Escape to the Country with Lola sitting there like a statue.

After lunch we were a bit more productive and got the kitchen sorted out and some things back in the garden room.  Ele and Kenny arrived on their way home for K's sisters in Broughty Ferry, to pick up Esme's halloween gifts.  They stayed for coffee and I am relieved to say that they absolutely love the dark blue walls in the kitchen. Phew!

Once they left we declared our job was done for the day and got an Indian takeaway for dinner.  

We'll hopefully get the rest of the things back in their place soon, even if it's only temporary :D
