Calm After The Storm!!

A very hot and muggy day today and work was murder. Walking about in a boiler suit in that heat, I was perspiring lots then around 10.30 the storm arrived. Thunder, lightning and a couple of heavy showers.

Then in the afternoon, the sun came out and it was really really hot. By the time I got home the clouds had gathered yet again and the thunder and lightning returned. This time, we had a very large downpour and it's still coming down as I type this.

So, the blip today is from the back door looking out at the stormy sky. Let's hope this will clear the muggy weather but going by the forecast, we won't hold our breath.

Watched the baby prince making his appearance tonight with the extended news on ITV. Thought it was so sweet, they really are a nice couple but it's such shame the don't have a life of their own to enjoy their son like any normal mum and dad.
