2024 Sunday — Sunset Afterglow
We enjoyed a sheet of cloud spread across our sky most of the afternoon; it caused the afternoon to feel soft, stress seemed dialed-down, and emotion felt lazily leisure. The sun hid behind the cloud so I wondered if we'd see a sunset.
On this last Sunday afternoon of October, I hoped God would paint His signature across the sky AND HE DID! His masterpiece was so magnificent that I gave-up on moving away from the window and gave my full attention to saving every detail in my memory.
As we ate dinner, I told Mr. Fun that I was sure God had a very good time today painting the sky and listening to His kids hoop & holler and whistle & sigh. Then I told Mr. Fun, "I'm sure He engineered this earth to run on auto pilot, you know, like auto payments, but I think every now and then He just has fun wowing us." I think that happened today.
From California’s Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
