Being creative

I saw a few little instructive photos on Instagram showing how to make this hydrangea wreath and the idea to have a go has been floating around in my head all week.

This morning I tootled out into the garden armed with secateurs, garden twine and scissors, and this is the result! I’m really pleased with it and it only took me about 20 minutes.

You start off with 4x14 inch stems and tie two together top-to-tail. Then place them in a + pattern to begin the frame.

8x12inch stems next to make four more ‘double headed’ stems that are added to make the outside square of the frame. Et voilà! If it dries out nicely I might add some little lights. :-)
