Cheesecake

On my way to the Estate this morning, I met our local minister (Nick) who has an collie bitch (Misty) who is older than Django, but still very frisky. Having pulled hard on the lead from the moment he saw her, Django continued to try to impress her (see extra). That was until Nick pulled a treat from his pocket.

The Estate was very muddy, but the late autumn colours were beautiful under the blue skies. Back home, I made the mistake of doing a bit of work before the bus, and only just caught it.

In work I had a fair supervision meeting with my undergraduate project student, and then got lunch to eat in the common room with PhD student Y. As promised last night on our Signal channel, she'd brought in a baked cheesecake that she'd made. We shared with my old colleague K, and it was excellent.

In the afternoon, Y and I worked in the office and were discussing a technical issue when PhD student J walked in. It was to be their last supervision meeting - just a chat really - since they submit their thesis on Thursday.
