An ordinary life....

If you go down to the woods today...

I am pleased to report I am feeling a bit better.

The main symptom I am experiencing with this UTI is a complete lack of energy and whilst I would normally power through, I have decided to give myself a break and rest.  This of course is made easier with my wheels being out of action, so maybe the universe is working in my favour after all :-)

I woke at 8.00am.  D brought me tea and toast in bed so I could have my antibiotic (to be taken with food)  Thought I would get up at 9.00am but while D was in the shower my eyelids were getting heavier and heavier so I lay down again and slept till just after 11am!

D headed off to see the hygienist in St Andrews.  I was going to go just for the drive there and back, but couldn't even be bothered with that. Instead I kept Lola company (Alan and Penny were also out) and tried (unsuccessfully, apart from one gift that I am pleased about :-) to do some online Christmas shopping.

David brought me a nice sandwich back from a deli in St Andrews for a late lunch (£5.95 for a sandwich?!  Not even on artisan bread, just ordinary wholemeal!  I almost framed it!) then he took Lola out for her long walk.  I asked him to FT me if he saw any sights that were blip worthy.  He contacted me as he reached this part of the path, and with some trial and error (and great hilarity...he dropped his phone at one point and I found myself face down in the grass!  Fortunately it missed a very muddy puddle by about four inches!!) I managed to get him to compose the shot and press the button.  Later edited by me in Snapseed.  Another D&D Blip collaboration :-))  And thank goodness for that as without his help you'd have been getting an emergency SP and believe me, that's not something you want to see at the moment!!

Dinner of homemade chilli (thankfully pre-made and frozen so no effort on my part this evening :-) before D headed off to his usual Tuesday night group singing rehearsal.

Now have feet up and about to watch Bake-Off.  All being well be back for a blip catch up after that :-))
