A picture from Strider who is having a couple of days there before seeing friends in Hanover. Given the Cold War theme a black and white treatment seemed appropriate. He certainly looks tough enough to be a scary border guard.

Nothing cold about my day, very mild, got lots done on the DIY front, particularly lining another section of The Shack’s walls. Went into town to shop for food so got some steps in.

Good catch up with my old uni mate in Newcastle ("Everyday Matters"). Ms R made a wicked banana bread. Neighbours came around to help eat it. I made a very good aubergine curry. Then I dyed TSM’s hair and we watched the season finale of "Only Murders".

Actually that was quite a packed day …
