Spa Day

I glanced down the hill at the creek and saw something fluttering in the water. So I looked with binoculars and realized it was robins. American robins taking a bath! I ran and got the camera and luckily they were doing a thorough job of it so I was able to capture a bit of their ablutions.

I do have a couple of birdbaths up near the house, but birds almost never actually bathe in them. They do grab a drink, though. But since we have the creek, I guess it makes perfect sense that they'd use that for their bath.
