It’ll have to do for today

Not inspired to do anything today. Rather lethargic, perhaps still affected by that infection from last week that I thought I’d got over very quickly.

The renovations started today with the plasterboard on one wall torn down. It needs replacing as a water leak some years ago had sprung it from the frame. Great wads of insulation went in before new plasterboard was applied.

There seems to be countless “little” jobs to be done, all of which are like spinning plates. That doesn’t help.

Apart from a brief glimpse of sunshine this morning, the rest of the day felt overbearingly dull. It was with relief that Susan spotted this mosaic of leaves this afternoon.
