Workplace

Ok, so I actually work in the kitchen but it's still an idyllic spot.  Abergynolwyn station is perched up on the valley side, forest above and across the valley, the view one way towards the coast, the other into the mountains.  Here, the last train of the day waits to start the short run to the end of the line.  The fireman L, the same age as Ruth, a good friend, they spent time together here in the hostel back in the day.

A busy day at times but not as busy as yesterday from the figures.   Just comfortably busy!   Afterwards Meg has a walk around the area we live, she mostly decided where we went .... kind of round in circles ... but we did get a good view of the post-sunset sky out to the west.  An extra pic.  Who needs the Northern Lights when you live on the west coast!

Singing tonight was fun as always.  We're beginning to think about our Christmas get-together, seasonal songs to the fore tonight.  These ranged from The Boars Head Carol to the (very silly) I want a hippopotamus for Christmas with a bit of Wassailing thrown in for good measure.

One more work day tomorrow and then, if I use up all my time owed and holidays, I don't need to work again until Easter!
