Darkness Not Far Away

A windy day, drizzle showers this morning.  By lunchtime, the clouds started to break up, a sunny afternoon.  A lovely evening, still breezy.

Up early, arrived at work.  A day working on my own.  Another day of pressure washing, this time around the paths of the Anderson High School halls of residence.  A lot of moss, might take me a couple of days to complete.  Walkies with Sammy after work.  I've been working in the shop this evening, a steady night, but quieter than usual.  Last walkies, feet up before bed.

The sun was starting to set, as I came over the hill on my was home, that was 1610hrs.  I set off for a walk with Sammy, with the light dimming as we walked around the village.  Sunset is now at 1616hrs, but we have long sunsets here in the north, so it was still light until about 1700hrs.  Just over 7 weeks, and the days will be getting longer again.  Darkness starting to fall at 1651hrs, with the Good Shepherd IV at Moore's Slip, Westshore, Main Street, Scalloway.
