New Apprentice, Lottie

A fine enough day, some sunshine this morning, then cloudy, rain tonight.  Breezy to calm to gales.

Up early, headed to work.  Another day pressure washing the halls of residence, also some moss removal with a spade and garden tools.  Walkies with Sammy after work, managed to avoid the showers.  Mam popped by for a cuppa after tea.  A quiet evening at home, more walkies if it dries up, feet up until then.

Schools back from holidays today, plenty of pupils around.  I bumped into one of my wonderful nieces, Lottie.  She's not long back from Tenerife, heard a bit about the holidays.  Not only met her on her way to school, but also lunch break too.  Like most of the isles bairns wishing to go on after 4th year secondary, most come to Lerwick for high school, as Brae doesn't have accommodation.  I didn't quite convince her to skive off today and help me, and tried my best to minimise uncle photo embarrassment.  I honestly do work, even though my photos may suggest others do my work for me.  Lottie at the Anderson High School halls of residence, Lerwick.
