Until next time

So that's my holiday over. Has been great but apparently all good things must end so back to the UK tonight / tomorrow. Unfortunately not home yet as have a meeting until Friday near London.

Currently sat in the airport lounge feeling sad - always sad for holidays to end but feeling it more tonight.

Always hate saying bye to Em - is wonderful in some ways having a friend in NYC but I miss her being in the UK. FaceTime and email isn't the same as catching up over a few boozes, spending time together and generally putting the world to rights. Must plan another catch up soon.

Also going back means not being with the fella as much - at the moment we don't live together (don't ask!!) and is hard to go from spending loads of chilled out time together to not! One day...

Enough melancholy else I won't sleep on the flight.

Ps I'm not sure what my 'at home' blips will be like as I'm sure my life isn't that interesting but will try. Ooh got to go flight is boarding
