A lovely playdate this morning with friends old and new. It was so good to see Em playing happily alongside the older girls. The three of them were sat at the table moulding all sorts of play-doh confections, chit-chatting away. Then this afternoon Em made another special friend at the playground, a 7 year old boy. He was so patient with her, always asking her what she wanted to do next, talking to her as an equal, it was touching.

Another last-light special I'm afraid.
