raindance

Today at the library we learnt all about seeds, how they grow into plants and how important earthworms are. Em loved planting a "grass-head" (watercup with face drawn on it then sown with grass seed), handling all the different types of seeds and playing with wiggly, wriggly worms. Fun-packed and factual.

After quiet time (our nap-time replacement solution and all-round-sanity-saver) the heavens opened, yet it was still warm, very warm. Em didn't need to be asked twice if she wanted to go out on the deck into the rain. "Bare?" was her only query.


(Also it dawned on me, after the rain, that I was working in too shallow DoF. I might have captured the rain splashes more clearly. lesson learnt.)
