Transformed

The decorators arrived promptly at 0800.  We had already cleared the rooms of all but the very large furniture, so they didn'thave a lot of prep to do, though there were various holes to fill.  They'd emulsioned both rooms, wallpapered (one feature wall), touched up a couple of places in the rest of the house where we'd damaged/removed things, and were gone by 1600!  Amazing.  Admittedly, there's no woodwork to paint/varnish, as that's still in perfectly good condition.

We'd expected to spend at least two nights in the spare bedroom.  In fact, we could have slept in our own bedroom this night, but opted to let it completely dry out in there.

That's all but a couple of small rooms decorated, and we've only been in the house for some 17 months - it took several years to get the house in Norfolk fully fettled!

In the evening, I went to the flute group - great session.
