River of Light

After the sunny weekend, the winter darkness has been largely unwelcome to me, but it has its compensations.

Happily, there was just time today to squeeze in a visit to some of Liverpool’s River of Light www.visitliverpool.com/riveroflight installations between finishing work and getting to this month’s book club meeting.

It was very busy in town and it was great to see thousands of people of all ages out and about and having a good time interacting with the artworks. I liked some of the pieces more than others but, regardless of personal taste, I love the way Liverpool does public art and cultural events like this. Nice one!
