Preparation - work in progress.
Every Christmas we have the palaver of hanging a string of fir (Faux fir) branches above the holy crib scene. We use the hook that normally hold the painting of Florence (painted by Marlane's brother-in-Law, Franz Nauts, a very talented artist). The painting is then hung back up as well making it doubly difficult.
So, this year Marlane asked if we could do something to make it easier. Her idea was to make a wooden triangle that could be screwed to the wall. Tack a background, maybe a sky with the star shining above the crib, to the frame and attach hooks to the wood to hold the fir branches.
I'll blip it again when it is progresses a bit.
Bit of a fiddle to get the angles right but nothing a bit of filler didn't fix!
