Preparing for spring
A few days back I bought a robot lawn mower. It's very late in the year so it won't get any use until the spring but I can prepare the ground. The black cable you see in the picture is laid around the edge of the lawn, pegged down or buried. It tells the robot when it has reached the edge of the lawn.
It was chilly working outside even if the sun melted away the morning frost, but I persevered until I'd completed the circumference of the lawn.
Then it was off to town for flu and Covid vaccinations - one in each arm. Feeling fine just now but it usually hits me the next day, so far in a fairly mild way. Keeping fingers crossed.
Then to dinner at Rose's. Karin, one of her grand-daughters was there, with a friend. Ruth and Mikael also came along, so it was almost a dinner party! Ages ranged from 14 to 77! Then on to FilmStudio and the Irish/Finnish film "My sailor, My Love". A film with three main characters, all damaged in different ways but all trying their best. One of the reviews wrote the truthful phrase "a film without villains". No reviewer seemed to think it absolutely brilliant but plenty of 4/5 star reviews. The coastal scenery of County Mayo is stunning and is almost a character in its own right! Definitely worth watching is my personal review.
