The Basket of Doom

Elio was supposed to get her vaccination shots this morning, so the Basket of Doom was taken out of its hiding place and assembled while she went out for her morning outing. 
She came back terrorised and with blood on her inner hind legs. 
She got attacked while doing her round. Three pretty nasty puncture wounds in her read right leg (while she was trying to flee I guess). 
Her nemesis next door happened to be in the Cat Hotel while his humans were on holidays so Hetty is off the suspects list. 
I have a feeling that that new ginormous black and white tomcat is going to be trouble. 
Ironically enough Elio might be glad to see the bully next door returned from his spell in the cat prison hotel. They have their moments but they don't result in an injury like today. 
She won't to the vet in the end, had a her leg shaves, wounds thoroughly cleaned and given a shot of antibiotics. 
She isn't a happy kitten.
And she'll have to go back for her vaccination shots when she is fully repaired... 
The Basket of Doom is going to get some use again soon.
