Stream in silver and black
Another trip to the riverside again today, but instead of yesterday's focus on a single point, I've focused on the whole view from the bank.
This long exposure was taken with an 8-stop variable ND filter. Unfortunately, with these type of filters your exposure can be subject to some weird colour casts. So to get round this I converted to mono. I actually like the silvery nature of the stream, it lends it the appearance of mercury and really highlights the textures of the rocks.
Back to the office tomorrow, so let's see what the blip fairy brings on the way in to, or way back from Christchurch.
