Milky Way over the Eucalypts

It's another beautiful dark night out there, so whilst the dogs had their after tea comfort break, I went up to the top paddock with them to shoot this view of the Milky Way rising to the east above our eucalyptus woodlot.

This is the first shot with the Sigma 15mm fisheye. I think it's going to come in quite useful for night skies....

Fingers crossed for good weather this weekend, as the Tekapo trip could be back on. Stay tuned....
