Christmas Dinosaurs

And we haven't even got over Halloween yet.

We went to Dobbies garden centre at Rothley for our monthly free drink and cake and helping of ham, egg and chips. It was busy.

Fortunately, there was still a free table in the dog-friendly conservatory so we were able to take Basil in. There was a weirdly unpleasant  smell lingering, hard to say exactly what, but just as I was finishing my ham, Basil did a huge poop on the floor. I think another dog must have done something similar earlier and the smell set Basil off.

Len gamely wiped up the mess and disposed of it. I told one of the workers what had happened. We spotted an assistant  rushing there with a spray bottle underneath her arm.

Poor Basil. He was obviously upset by what had happened when he normally always goes outside.

We didn't stay. 

All the garden centres in the neighbourhood  have already put out their Christmas wares.
