Thoughts?

Well here is the gorgeous Susan perched on a flat rock looking out towards Rothesay from Cumbrae. What a brilliant day and what a brilliant reaction she had to it all. There is a notion of huge excitement getting onto a ferry, even if it's only for 10 minutes! She grinned and beamed from the moment the ferry arrived. Of course the weather helped!!

The BBQ was lovely and there were also two very satisfied parentals. We had a pootle (with hundreds of bikes and walkers, there was not other choice!) round the rest of the island and I showed them where I was going to be staying until the beginning of October. It has a saltire outside which amuses me! Susan happily snapped the school and the shoreline.

I am so pleased that she has an idea of her new home before she leaves. I remember only too well that feeling of going home once - but my parents had moved house and the whole idea of "home" and all it stood for was threatened.
