Musing of a Lady

Bike

Little Man and I went round to Laura's, who lives in the next town over with her husband and their three boys, the youngest of whom is a few weeks younger than Little Man. We had a lovely time and stayed for lunch, pancakes, before coming back home. I thought I'd share a photo of my bike, my main form of transport. Little Man loves sitting on the back and still learning to sit still. He occasionally wiggles, which cases the whole bike to wobble as we're biking. This can be quite frightening when passing vehicles on the narrow roads surrounding our new home. He's gotten a lot better with all the practice we've had to do since we've moved to Driebruggen.

We came home and spent the afternoon hanging out. Little Man had a lot of fun in the garden, which meant that he ended up needing to have a bath before dinner. We spoke to my parents. Just as I was about to start dinner prep, Laura's husband, Gerrit, brought some crates of wood round. He works for the man who owns the house we're currently renting. The owner said that he'd show me where the wood is stored on the property next door. I'd expected that I would need to go round regularly to stock up, but instead Gerrit brought the wood round, with a forklift. Now we have several hundred euros worth of wood, for free, which should last us for several months. See the extra photo of the wood!
