Big Wheeled Trailer
After having spoken to James and Debbie, Little Man's English grandparents, we got the bus into Woerden today to get a few things, like a backup cable, a power bank and washing detergent. I had planned to get the bus home at just after 1 o'clock but ended up getting on the wrong bus. When I realised my mistake, I got off and realised that we had a forty five minute walk back into Woerden. We'd missed the bus I'd hoped to get and we had to wait two hours for the next one home. I remembered that there was a large field near the town centre, so we went there, to let Little Man stretch his legs. There was a large trailer parked on the edge of the field, which Little Man found incredible. The wheels were larger than him and he had a lot of fun walking around them and trying to figure out why the trailer wouldn't move when he pushed it.
When we got home, Caleb was waiting for us with a new vacuum cleaner! It was an incredible and very practical gift. The vacuum cleaner we have doesn't work properly. The suction is strong enough to pick things up in one pass. With a wood burner, and a three year old, keeping the house clean is very important.
We spoke to my parents after dinner and then Little Man went to bed. He's gone down without a fuss.
