Latrigg

Those of you who have followed me will know there are places in the Lake District that I regularly visit.  You could say they are my favourites, but if you ask me which one I like best, that would be hard.  This is Latrigg, near Keswick, with a farm and autumn colours.  There is a lay-by on the A66 and it is here I take my photos of Latrigg.  If you climb it you are rewarded with a view of Keswick and beyond.  Today the Keswick area was much better weatherwise than at home.  At home it was dismal with low cloud and drizzle.  Get to Bassenthwaite Lake and it was the opposite.  Sun was shining on the remaining leaves and it was spectacular.  The extra shows the trees near Thornthwaite.
