Borrrowdale

Mark was working in Keswick today, he let us know the sun was shining, so after a week of grey, misty damp weather at home, we decided to head out that way. We left the dull weather behind us as we passed Bassenthwaite lake.
Borrowdale this time last year was golden 2023 pic in extras. What a difference this year, lots of the leaves had already been shed.
As we drove home we hit the bad weather again as we came over Whinlatter, apparently, it had been miserable all day at home.
Now to see what November brings......
