All that glitters . . .
. . . or perhaps we should say bleeps . . .
I know not if this chappie found gold, but he is still at it some four hours later. We had another detectorist a few weeks back and he spent most of the day in the field and seemed to bag lots.
Today was largely spent getting all the sticky residue off the wooden frame of the bedroom window flyscreen. It was last blipped two years ago when I was doing running repairs, but now it’s beyond redemption. The flyscreen material has been in use for over five years, but was held in place by touch and close fastening, which was not very convenient, so I attached it to the wooden frame in 2021.
