Still Hangin' In

The leaves are falling, the weather is cooling, and winter is approaching, but there are still a few hardy little plants blooming out there in my back yard; they are not giving up yet! 

I am sad to see the glorious autumn colour disappearing, but I cannot complain; it has been such a lovely autumn with surprisingly warm days and I am grateful that I was able to enjoy the entire month of October up close in my own home and garden, rather than from a hospital window!
