The Barbican, City of London

The Barbican is a Grade II residential estate of 40 acres located in the City of London. It is a notable example of Brutalist architecture and was built between 1965 and 1976. Today it houses around 4000 people and has an arts centre (1982), a library, cinemas, and eateries. People love it or hate it.
