End of Season
Party at the caravan site. We attended a lot of these back in the day when we had a van on the site, Halloween themed. I popped up tonight and joined J, J and J for a bit ... and a bite. John's huge home grown pumpkin might have won a prize and Jane's scare costume nearly did while Jack, not pictured, did win in the 11-17 class :-) Fun!
A very complicated day. As I was packing the last things for my stall at Bryncrug craft fair, news came in that mum had had a fall overnight and been sitting in the floor for hours. As my siblings were all either working or on the other side of the world on holiday, I took the lead role today in contacting agency, GP and sharing news as it came in. Things are not too bad luckily, after being checked over by the rapid response team this afternoon, we're hopeful there's no lasting harm. I have also been the link man between Ruth and the contractors who pick up her keys on Monday before she comes to mine for the first week of the work. Many messages and calls punctuated a very successful few hours selling pottery, cards and Jamie's slate photo-coasters.
Very tired this evening. A very lazy day planned for tomorrow.
